A BILL
To prohibit discrimination in Federal assisted health care services and research programs on the basis of sex, race, color, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disability status.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
SEC. 2. PROHIBITION ON DISCRIMINATION IN FEDERAL ASSISTED HEALTH CARE SERVICES AND RESEARCH PROGRAMS ON THE BASIS OF SEX, RACE, COLOR, NATIONAL ORIGIN, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, GENDER IDENTITY, OR DISABILITY STATUS.
No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, race, color, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disability status, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any health care service or research program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.
