Summary:
2/11/2008--Introduced.Terrorism Risk Insurance Improvement Act of 2008 - Amends the Terrorism Risk Insurance Act of 2002 to revise the definition of "insurer deductible" with respect to a situation where aggregate industry insured losses resulting from a certified act of terrorism exceed $1 billion for an insurer that sustains any of such losses.Sets forth a calculation for the value of such an insurer's direct earned premiums over the calendar year immediately preceding the program year.

A BILL

To suspend temporarily the duty on 4-Methylbenzenesulfonamide.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. 4-METHYLBENZENESULFONAMIDE.

    (a) In General- Subchapter II of chapter 99 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States is amended by inserting in numerical sequence the following new heading:

    (b) Effective Date- The amendment made by subsection (a) applies to goods entered, or withdrawn from warehouse for consumption, on or after the 15th day after the date of enactment of this Act.
