Extends deepest sympathies to the innocent victims of those attacks and honors the first responders and others who aided the victims.Expresses gratitude to the foreign leaders and citizens who have assisted and who continue to stand in solidarity with the United States against terrorism. Rejects any effort to confuse the war on terrorism with a war on any people or any faith.Honors the U.S. military, intelligence, and diplomatic personnel who have sacrificed much in defense of their country against terrorism. Expresses a commitment to providing such personnel with the resources necessary to defeat terrorists and their supporters. Reaffirms the commitment to defend the American people from all future challenges.

RESOLUTION

Expressing the sense of the House of Representatives that any major health care reform bill considered on the floor should be available for viewing.

    Resolved, That it is the sense of the House of Representatives that, due to the potential for tremendous change to our Nation’s health care system, any major health care reform bill that comes to the floor of the House of Representatives in final form should be available to Members to view in hardcopy for a week prior to the final vote on such bill.
