This bill is absolutely necessary to offset the imbalance of power between the banks and the borrowers, preserve our communities, and re-establish the faith in the ability of our government to protect its citizens and provide a modicum of security. This is particularly true in view of the recently passed SB94 that has nearly eliminated the ability of borrowers to obtain legal counsel, or any such representation, that will provide the necessary buffer between the bank and the borrower.

I completely agree with you. This bill can be a huge step in the economic recovery, helping millions of Americans get out of debt.
