What an arrogant nation we are! Where do we get off making demands of another nation for things we do ourselves? This Resolution "calls on the People's Republic of China to invite full and independent investigations into the Tiananmen Square crackdown, assisted by the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights and the International Committee of the Red Cross...". How would we as a country respond if China demanded the UN investigate us on how we handle prisoners in Guantanamo? Or any of the secret prisons we have a broad? We should stay out of other countries' business and deal with our own. And while we are at it we might as well return to a non-interventionist policy. The world would be a lot happier with us and more importanly we as a nation would be safer and better off. REPLY

This is anti-climactic! At the rate this Congress is progressing, we will eventually have our own Tiananmen Square. REPLY
