Our fragil economic futures are on the threshhold of being forever ravaged because of a global warming myth, started by Margaret Thatcher 40 years ago, never accredited by scientific verification, yet fostered from political bully-pulpits. It is a scientific fact that volcanoes annually expel more CO2 than a combination of all manufacturing technology, including coal production. Perhaps the 111th Congress should legislate capping volcanoes as a final attempt at appearing relevant in the eyes of the voters! REPLY

It is currently a sun spot activity low, the earth should've been cooling these last 30 years. Sun spot activity is predicted to increase over the next 50 years... think about that.

The last time the earth's temp stabilized with this much CO2 it was aproximately 10 degrees hotter. We will soon be passing those historic, all-time, high levels. Take a look at Venus, it's got a "runaway" green house: 700 to 800 degrees and no hope...

Luckily Earth is "alive," and has natural rebalancing systems. We just need to help life, and stop hurting it quite so much. It's hot, but we still have hope. I like so many of the great ideas I've seen to help this issue. And this bill does look like a good way to support much of that kind of thinking and people taking action!!! REPLY

It has been scientifically verified that volcanoes produce more C02 than all combined human activity (except perhaps that which is expelled during Congressional parliamentary procedures. The basis of the Obama "Green Energy Tax" is the "Great Carbon Lie" that carbon emissions cause global warming. This has been proven to be completely wrong and based on bad science. Proof of this comes from Gore's own eco-friends at the United Nations with two simple pieces of data.

1. Average Global Temperatures Have Decreased in the Last 10 Years.
2. Carbon Emissions Have Increased 10 fold in the Last 10 Years. REPLY

Moving to clean energy is not JUST about Global Warming. We need to kick the oil habit, and we need to replace our total dependence on coal. Oil prices are going up (again) and burning coal will always be dirty; let go of your conspiracy theories and let common sense have some sway. REPLY

Does anyone remember the Farmers Almanac? It was a work of art. Told farmers when to plant in certain areas. It pretty much predicted the weather. Remember the Dust Bowl. Golly, did that mean the world was coming to an end. It was horrible, but it did not prove to be anything but what it was. I am very tired of Al Gore and his rederic BS and everyone following his lead. He has already be proven wrong by so many, so why listen to this any more. He was out for the money as so many in politics today. Put it aside and lets rip the people off when they can't even afford their house payments or put much food on the table. They want you to green up your houses. Well, give us money, NO, give us back some jobs. No one wants to be on unemployment. Drill baby Drill, and put people back to work and Nuclear Plants so we can save on electricty. Hell, with the electric cars, who can afford electricty after Govt is through with us.
