so, the secretary of homeland security is gonna get together a 'university-based' think tank that will communicate with other governments - governments ALSO planning on preventing violent radicalization and homegrown terrorism - and then work together toward the same goal. NWO, anyone? of course, the big, scary question is what will constitute violent radicalization and homegrown terrorism? would the demonstrations of the 60s fit under that? the Democratic Nat'l Convention was violent. so was the WTO protest in seattle in '99. this bill is sponsored by a republican senator. last year, however, an identical bill, HR.1955, was sponsored by a democrat and PASSED the house - 404 to 6!!! this is a bipartisan attack on (or, at the very least, an indifference to) our civil liberties and our constitution. and it doesn’t seem to be getting any coverage on mainstream media. we have to pay attention, and not be so caught up in the primaries that we miss the forest for the trees.

A commission is not needed for this.
We already have plenty of organizations that concerns themselves with this.

It is NOT terrorism in any stretch of the imagination to engage in first amendment rights as guaranteed by the Constitution or any of our rights. This congress & administration have some real serious issues that require legal attention. The mantra of "terror" has become their own undoing as well as underestimating the consciousness of the American people. No NWO !! No fear !!
