Congressional Reform Act of 2010 It is generally that believed political corruption & greed have consumed too much of our government. Many politicians who have been elected to "serve" American Taxpaying Citizens, have lost this basic concept, originally created by our Founding Fathers, "Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career! Serve your term, then return home and back to work"! After one year of the current administration, it seems apparent most Liberal politicians, including the President, his Cabinet members and advisors, as well as the 111th Congress, appear concerned only with promoting such Progressive agendas as redistributing the wealth and fundamentally changing the United States of America! To reform Congress, we need to have a national referendum, compelling our elected representatives in Congress to adhere to the vision of the Founding Fathers. It will contain 7 provisions, all of which would be strongly endorsed by those who originally drafted our Declaration of Independence, Bill of Rights and the U.S. Constitution. The Congressional Reform Act of 2010 includes the following specifications: 1) Term Limits: A Senator or Congress-person may serve for 12 years, with only one of the following authorized options: a. Two six-year Senate terms; or b. Six two-year House terms; or c. One six-year Senate term and three two-year House terms 2) No tenure/no pension: A Congress-person collects a salary while in office and receives no pay after vacating that office. 3) All members of Congress shall participate in Social Security. All revenue in the Congressional Retirement Fund will immediately roll over into the Social Security Fund! All future Congressional Retirement Funds will flow directly into the Social Security System, as Congressional members participate right along with other qualified American retirees. 4) Members of Congress shall purchase their own retirement plans, just as all other Americans do. 5) Congress shall no longer vote for their own membership pay increases. Congressional salaries will increase in accordance with the Consumer Price Index, or 3%, whichever is lower. 6) Congress shall surrender their Senate Health Care Options and participate in the same category of Health Care Benefits as the rest of the American people. 7) Congress shall equally abide by all laws they pass and impose upon the rest of the American citizens. If positive corrective steps are not immediately taken, the Legislative Branch may continue to suffer from increasing irrelevance until the Executive Branch discovers it can capably run the country alone. Now is the time to reform Congress! We need to immediately have proposals introduced in the Senate and House of Representatives, entitled "The Congressional Reform Act of 2010". __________________________________

A majority of the American People have clearly rejected ObamaCare and any aspect of HealthCare Reform, which actually establishes the framework for fundamental changes in the United States of America, in direct conflict with the Declaration of Independence, Bill of Rights and United States Constitution. The Democratic Congress and the Obama White House have refused to acknowledge the will of the American People and have threatened to force ObamaCare through Congress by any means possible, including buying votes and employing legislative gimmicks that violate the traditions and rules of the United States Senate. During his recent "Bi-Partisan" Health Care Summit, the President further politicized the issue of health care for Americans, refused to address real issues or engage in real debate and failed to convince Americans that the ObamaCare 3.0 plan to nationalize health care was right for the nation. If Healthcare Reform passes, rather than fix health care (as accomplished in England, Canadian and Massachusetts), it will fundamentally change the political/economic structure of the United States of America and complete redistribution of wealth of all Americans, including members of Congress, as the Legislative Branch of our government further continues to decline in relevance, thus enabling this President to routinely govern by Executive Order. Rather than reform healthcare, Obamacare will replace a world class healthcare delivery system with rationed healthcare for all, as taxpayers pay for abortions (under threat of confinement), and coverage for all undocumented immigrants. It will destroy our 235 year history of formally recognizing unalienable rights and freedoms and force all citizens into subservience to a totalitarian federal government! Therefore, I respectfully petition you and other responsible members of the 111th Congress to abandon all political efforts to force ObamaCare and the federal takeover of America's health care on our great nation! Health Care "Surprise" - Today, I heard that President Obama as decided to pass Health Care Reform legislation (2700 pages that no one has read) without House approval. Speaker Nancy Pelosi said “Hey, vote for healthcare and then we'll tell you what's in it!” and “It’s about diet, not diabetes"! My family and I hope that you will vote against any government-run health care legislation, and the trillions of dollars in taxes http://usdebtclock.org/ that go with it, as well as public funding of abortions and coverage for undocu-mented immigrants. Let’s not allow passage of this 2700 page “surprise” that is less about health care than constructing a radical framework to destroy our Founding Documents, and facilitate total irrelevance of Congress. Rather than crowding out private insurers through a subsidized government option, we want Congress to be empowered to vote for market-based reforms like allowing citizens of all states to purchase health insurance across state lines. Radical expansion of the role of federal government into state, local and individual control is in direct conflict with the Declaration of Independence, Bill of Rights and U.S. Constitution. Personal experience has taught me that if a government can do everything for you, it is able to do anything to you! If President Obama is allowed to force this measure into law, how long do you think it will take for him to realize he no longer needs Congress, as he commences running the country by Executive Order, compels all elected representatives to surrender Senate Healthcare Options and luxurious retirement pensions? Some may call this “social justice”! Once the United States of America has been transformed into a totalitarian state, the only distinction we can hope for is a truly “classless society”! I am counting on you to represent me and my family in this matter. If you choose to do what is right at this time, we’ll do what’s right in November. I count myself among spirited advocates of our Founding Fathers vision, who are organized around the concept of individual unalienable rights and are committed to restoring our Democratic Republic and letting the 112th Congress re-write all unconstitutional legislation. The Legacy---------------------------- A Progressive wind blows o'er this land, redistributing American wealth from wage-earner to special interests with full Congressional stealth. Elected officials feign immunity to dire consequence of tax-and-spend. They'll never tax middle-America away without losing what they prize in the end. Liberals purchase their majority to declare, “All Americans want Health Care Reform”! So we can pay for undocumented immigrants, be told what to eat and who will be born. We’ve been told that “our leader” will ease Health Care Reform frights by assuming the role of God, Almighty, and bless us with unalienable rights! Will we be forced to finance abortions or face “hard time” in political jail? If we surrender the right to debate constituent free-will shall surely fail! We’re encouraged to use Progressive prisms and reflect on our nation’s rich past; to repress free-market capitalism and become “politically corrupt” at last. What’s happening to our Bill of Rights and United States Constitution? Can you imagine “hope ‘n change” leading to "our" final solution? Who can ignore eternal words that dare souls to live free? Let me get this straight . . . President Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid are trying to compel Congress to pass a health care plan . . . 1) Written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it, 2) Passed by a Congress that hasn't read it but members exempt themselves from it, 3) To be signed by a President who also hasn't read it and doesn't really seem to care what it contains, 4) With funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, 5) All to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, 6) And financed by a country that's broke. What else could possibly go wrong? http://usdebtclock.org/ Could this be "social justice"? We know passage techniques employed are illegal and unconstitutional! As any fruit of the poison tree, it will be challenged in court, as unconstitutional, and rewritten by the 112th Congress!
