This man gets most of his money from special interests and is ignorant of the issues. Today he released his take on healthcare reform, which is intended to scare people into thinking the government is going to take over healthcare, that big government will ration care to cut healthcare spending. He's a liar. He said nothing about how insurers ration care, rescind people's policies when they get an expensive illnesses, nor how they ration services, cherry-pick only healthy people and leave the rest out. He also forgets to mention that the government runs a very efficient, nonprofit health plan that its beneficiaries love, which is Medicare. He needs to get with the program. Special interests don't vote. People do, so he'd better start taking care of his constituents. Texans are beginning to see the light, shifting left of center. Not everybody in Texas is a conservative, evangelical Christian or uneducated.
